CO2: 2-3 bubble per second: ADA Pollen Glass 30mm, ADA CO2 Bubble Counter, ADA Cabochon Ruby. 
Substrate: Ada Power Sand Special; Ada Amazonas II.
Plants: Glossostigma elatinoides, Eleocharis parvula, Echinodorus tenellus, Microsorum trident, Microsorum pteropus,Rotala rotundifolia, Ludwigia arcuata, Vesicularia sp., Fontinalis antipiretica, Hygrophyla polisperma rosé, Hottonia palustris, Pogostemon stellatum, Anubias sp. nana, Bolbitis heudelotii. 
Fishes & invertebrates: Paracheirodon simulans, Hemigrammus erythrozonus, Otocinclus affinis, Caridina japonica.

La mia vasca "Secret shore" si è classificata al terzo posto nella categoria "aquatic garden medium" dell'AGA 2010, il prestigioso contest internazionale di aquascaping organizzato dalla statunitense Aquatic Gardeners Association. Complimenti a tutti i partecipanti italiani, ai vincitori delle varie categorie e a Pasquale Buonpane per l'ottimo secondo posto nella categoria "aquatic garden x-large" con "The world before Columbus". "Dancing Flames" (150 l.) - AGA Contest 2009

Sono stati resi noti i risultati della controversa ultima edizione dell'importante "Aquatic Gardeners Associatio Contest 2009". Risultati che hanno scatenato commenti discordanti o addirittura generale indifferenza sui forum internazionali per via di un eccessivo gradimento di vasche che hanno poco a che fare con l'aquascaping e gli acquari naturali. Anche io, per la prima volta in vita mia, ho partecipato. Ecco i commenti dei giudici al mio lavoro (onestamente li trovo molto pertinenti):

"Lovely background for your Serpaes! I love the tank until we get to the E. vivipara in the back. I understand that you are trying to create some negative space, and it is properly set at 1/3, but it is so abrupt that it really pulls the eye away from the fine work you have done in front. This is a hard plant to use in this manner. With stem plants, you could trim them into a slope towed the open area. With the Eleocharis, the only thing I think you might try is varying the depth of the plants so that they are not in such a straght line across the back... perhaps curving them further forward toward the edges of the tank." - Karen Randall

"I really like the right side of this layout. I think the grouping or rocks is done nicely." - Jason Baliban

"A very nice aquascape. The foreground and midground of the tank are nicely done, but the background use of the E. vivapara doesn't really work as a background and needs to be blended into the midground better." - Bailin Shaw
