"He is an Italian aquascaper, but his layout almost appears like it is done by a Japanese aquascaper. I can tell that he studies about layout well. One thing to say about his layout though is that the stone arrangement should be more bold. Because of this, the layout does not have the strong impact. In this layout, only the middle section has stones but these stones should come more front side. One on the left goes rear. That way, you can create the distance feeling. Arranging large stone at the rear and small ones in front are not the right way to express the distance. I recommend to place large stone in front and small at the back, then you will see a great impact in your layout.
Checkpoint:
A. Main stone is a little too small for this size of the tank (especially the depth). It is recommended to select stones matching to yout tank size. To use this stone, it is suggested to place stones like it throws out.
B. This small stone should be at rear. That way, it creates the distant view.
C. Substrate is not piled enough. At the back of the stones, there should be more soil. That way, it crates a great distant feeling".
